This year I have some things that I know need to change and I think if I can really focus on making these changes my life can change dramatically. These things revolve all around my family. More and more each year I realize how important it is to raise a well rounded, human being, gentleman, boyfriend, husband, business man or entrepreneur...whatever Aiden's path shall be. I feel so responsible for making sure I give him all the tools to take the right paths. I am always trying to think out side and the box and be open to change and learning new things as a wife and a
mother.
Parenting is hard and marriage is really hard. Allot of times you do things and say things not realizing the damage you are doing I say things out of frustration thinking that I am just trying to communicate my feelings (with Luke not Aiden). I know that I want to try to be more patient and try to not to raise my voice, it really accomplishes nothing.
So I new I wanted to make some changes and I new I could be happier and living a more fulfilled life, but I didn't quite know how to make these changes. Coincidentally Jenny happened to have bought this book call "The Five Love Languages" and she happened to have it in her car when she came over one day. Now I am beginning to think she might have just changed my marriage. I just finished the book I read it in 5 days and WOW it really was amazing! Now it is just a matter of applying the techniques I learned. I really could talk about this forever but then I would start getting really personal and I don't need to be blogging that to the world =)
If I could I would buy 20 copies of the book and give it to all my friends and family because it really opened my eyes. Not only to communicating with Luke, but also to Aiden (There is a "The Five Love Languanges of Children" that I will be buying).
I am so thankful I am only 27, Aiden is only 4, I have been married for only 3 and half years, I have so much more time to get this parenting and marriage thing perfect.
